I’m sure you caught it. I wrote “There was no new moon sighted on the eve of May 23^rd, the 29^th day, so by default, the new moon began the month of Sivan the night of May 23^rd. So, today is Sivan 1. Happy new month! Sivan is the month of Shavu’ot, and so it is – May 31^st 2020.”

CORRECTION: There was no new moon sighted the eve of May 23^rd – the 29^th day – so by default, the new moon began the month of Sivan the night of May 24^th – last night. So today, May 25^th, is Sivan 1.
