Greetings: IT’S ELUL! HAPPY ROSH CHODESH!
How do we know we’re in Elul? Because we are! SMILE!
This is the sixth month from Aviv 1, which is the head of the Festival year (Exodus 12:2). The new moon for Aviv was sighted from Jerusalem on March 8th, 2019. We also know this is Elul because the barley was definitely in the aviv stage for the wave sheaf offering at First Fruits on Sunday March 24th 2019. Thus Passover was the eve of March 22nd. By late April, the barley was dried out in the field and not acceptable as a “first fruits” offering. Let us always hear from Abba Himself personally, for only He gives 100% Truth by His Spirit 100% of the time! He speaks to our spirit, not our intellectual reasoning. Then He confirms!
Yahuwah has two calendars! The most ancient calendar marks time from the creation of earth to do with His dealings with mankind in this world in general, and by which He determines His cycles of 7 and 49 years marking Shmittah and Jubilee Years. It begins on Tishre 1. However, in Exodus 12:2, He told Moses that He was creating a new calendar “for you,” “for you.” He said it twice for emphasis. It is not for the world, it is just for us to mark the Festivals, each of the 7 giving us clear understanding of the plan of salvation through Messiah Yahushua/Yeshua/Jesus. Tishre is the 7th month on the Festival calendar, but the 1st month of the Creation calendar. That’s not religious talk, that’s astronomically accurate.

Tekoa is about 4 miles from Jerusalem, so there’s your two witnesses required from Jerusalem.
WE HAVE ENTERED THE SEASON OF T’SHUVAH!
It is time to prepare for the coming of Messiah with more earnest endeavor than ever before because we’re not just in another Elul! We are inside the timing of Yahushua’s return to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom.

About this time next month at the sighting of the new moon from Jerusalem, we’ll be entering 2020. Wow is time racing by fast!!! So much is happening daily to fulfill those 223 prophecies of the Word about Yahushua Messiah’s return.
