New Moon Sighted for the Hebrew Month of IYYAR

Shalom, Happy Rosh Chodesh!

Tonight, the new (renewed) moon was sighted in areas like Poriyah and Petah Tikvah and Givat Ze’ev. Poriyah and Petah Tikvah are areas of central and northern Israel. Givat Ze’ev is a settlement about 5 kilometers NW of Jerusalem, or 3.1 miles approximately from Jerusalem.

Internet Info: “Giv’at Ze’ev (Hebrew: גִּבְעַת זְאֵב) is an urban Israeli settlement in the West Bank, five kilometers northwest of Jerusalem. The settlement was founded in 1977.”

By the ancient paths, settlements and towns in the Jerusalem area are also valid for new moon sighting to determine the new month. Of course, the towns in that day would be within walking distance or camel-riding distance of the Temple. Witnesses, at least 2 needed, would report to the High Priest. If he was satisfied that the new moon sightings were valid, he would order the lighting of fires from the Mount of Olives. From there, fires were lit on mountain tops all over towards the north, so that people would blow the shofars and welcome the new month.

Therefore, we have validity for determining the new month of Iyyar April 9th.

Psalm 81: “Blow the shofar at the new moon …”

I hope you were able to see the eclipse yesterday – it was magnificent. It was historic. So many things happen. The occult world made its statements, the worshippers of Satan/Lucifer made their sacrifices. What was amazing to me was that once the moon covered the sun, night lights on our 3 houses here all came on.

Yahuwah had much to say about it. Lucifer also had much to say about it.

I feel the turning point that it marked; maybe some of you do too. We were propelled into the future – a short future – one leading to the return of the Beloved One, our Savior and Master, Yahushua ha Mashiach. “Look Up! Your redemption draws near.” Blessings, Yedidah – April 9, 2024
