This is one of the very best podcasts, in my opinion, that I’ve ever done, simply because it includes so much that most of you can relate to! It includes information from ancient culture that you won’t hear in seminary sermons.
I lived in the Jordan for the most part of 16 years, and from that ancient world, I travelled to many places in other parts of the ancient world. I lived with the people of Jordan, and met people from all the surrounding nations – Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, and Saudi Arabia. I loved them all.
I bring you understanding of the culture of that day, so that you understand why the people did what they did, and felt like they did, and Yahuwah felt like He did and did what He did.
We are 2,000 years on this side of Messiah’s salvation-covenant, which opened up personal relationship for all who want it with Shaddai, El Yon, Himself … the Most High Sovereign of the universe. None is higher, yet He looks on us with such great love, and desire for our friendship and love.
I share some personal things in this podcast I don’t think I’ve ever shared before – things that have been dear in my life, things I can relate to – things you can relate to.
It’s like meeting new friends when you understand the heart of those told about in the Tenach, especially in the book of Genesis and the Prophets. These people will be in the Kingdom of Messiah. The culture of the Kingdom will be far from that of western Greco-Roman culture. It will be the culture of the Middle East that grew out of our original forefathers. That culture is still found in a great degree of understanding in the Arab countries today and Iran, which is a Persian country with a Persian language. Each nation is a bit different, but all united in “ancient culture.”
What reigning western nations have done to manipulate and use them is an atrocity of great magnitude – the lies told, the wars started, the takeovers demanded – all because the big world bully knows they can do it for the purposes of the one world government.
As you get the feel of the heart of the people who are our forefathers, you’ll understand the Word a lot better. So, get started understanding the family of Yitsak/Isaac and Y’acob/Jacob. The two boys knew Yahuwah as Shaddai, but they did not know Him as a personal Father who loves. Perhaps Leah found that more than any other.
