Shalom, shalom!
“Podcast CCLXXVI: `But If It Dies’ – A Message for the Week of Unleavened Bread” is ready for listening under “Audio Messages” on comeenterthemikvah.com.
This statement of Messiah before going to the stake/cross is what our eternal rewards depend on. Unless a natural seed dies in the soil, the inner life of that seed will not rise to the sunlight and produce a plant from which fruit/food will be taken. Spiritually speaking, unless we die to self, to this world, to all but following our Master, serving, obeying, learning, preparing, we will not produce the fruit of the Spirit to edify and renew, strengthen, and feed the spirits of other human beings.
Without descending into the heart of the earth, to Paradise, Messiah never would have risen to bring those in Paradise to heaven. But Messiah did bring captivity captive at His ascension (Acts 1): The cloud of witnesses that accompanied Him into heaven. The world’s people are languishing in sin and hopelessness because the seed of most people’s lives has never been buried – so they produce no fruit that will draw the weary to eternal life.
Use the rest of this week of “Unleavened Bread” to be living bread for those who do not know Him.
In His love, Yedidah
