This is the final podcast on the book of Acts, covering Acts 27 and 28.
Acts, written by the Apostle Luke, who wrote the “gospel,” Good News, of Luke, was with Sha’ul to the end. He wrote his account of the final days in such detail, for Luke was a Greek doctor and a brilliant scholar. He writes so that you envision what was happening on their final trip to Rome.
Once again, I encourage you to watch the 2019 movie “Paul, Apostle of Christ,” subtitled “Their faith challenged an empire, but their words changed the world.” It stars three top actors – James Faulkner as Sha’ul/Paul, Jim Caviezel as Luke, and Olivier Martinez as the Roman overseer of the prison. This follows the story-line of Acts, and gives you insight into what it was really like back then. The movie is not a religious presentation – it is a realistic presentation of then and now.
In three days, we celebrate Shavu’ot. At Sinai, the Word of Yahuwah was given to His people for right standing in His Kingdom. But, first, the setting apart was necessary to receive the instructions. (Exodus 19-20) From the ascension of Yahushua (Acts 1) to the pouring out of the Spirit of Yahuwah upon the disciples of Yahushua (Acts 2) was 10 days. They prepared to receive Him during those 10 days. We have had 7 days so far to prepare.
On Sunday, May 31st, we will reach the fulness of what He has for us in the coming days – following, and according to, our preparation. He does not work with us unless we position ourselves to receive. We’re about to cross the summer bridge, into a time of historic finalities.
I’ve been writing about this historic Shavu’ot, in articles like “This Historic Prophetic Upcoming Shavu’ot…” and “The Ten Days in May Crossing the Summer Bridge to the Ten Days in September/both under the Mikvah of the Covenant.
The book of Acts and the book of Revelation are the most important books for you to read and allow the Spirit to teach you now. Acts is happening in 2020 … especially the rising of the same Pharisee spirit that slandered Sha’ul and sent him to his death in Rome. We’ve come full-circle from 50-68 CE and into the 2nd century, right now. There is a remnant of the early Natsarim rising again, the Daniel 11:32 remnant, along with the 5th seal and the millions of martyrs. Remember, “Christianity” and “Rabbinic Judaism” was what the apostles fought against in their ministries. The creators of two “religions” caused the deaths of all the apostles except Yochanan/John, and a majority of the Natsarim, followers of the Way. Conditions are identical today except for the technology we have, that makes things worse.
By understanding the book of Acts and learning what is normal for a true believer, you’ll be prepared for the book of Revelation, which is unfolding now.
