Revelation 17 flows into Revelation 18. In order to get the flow of the whole book, listen to podcasts in order, because each one builds on the previous ones.
There were no chapter divisions, no punctuation divisions–no divisions at all in the original languages. I know the divisions are very convenient, but when you read the Word don’t stop at chapter divisions, stop at subject divisions, if you want to stop. You’ll see the flow when you read Revelation 17 then go into 18 ignoring the chapter division.
Today, as soon as I finished writing the transcript for Podcast XXVIII on Revelation 18, and printed it out, I went to check Steve Quayle daily list of articles. I clicked on an article by Geoffrey Grider writing on August 21st for Now the End Begins. It was about Pope Francis’ speech on the 21st. The first thing I saw in his article after his opening statement was: “And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Revelation 17:4, 5 (KJV) I am grateful for the Messiah-believing watchmen who are watching, and faithfully reporting.
When you study the Word with the Spirit and deposit His truth into your mind and spirit, you’ll begin to link key phrases with other words, sentences, and phrases. The Word will become a single unit to you. As you strengthen your relationship with Yahuwah and Yahushua, your walk can take you into many fascinating twists and turns. It’s a journey for sure. Oftentimes, just to let us know They’re guiding us, we sometimes get strange confirmations when we least expect them. Life with Elohim leaves no dull moments, and can be very exciting, as well as humorous, at times.
Please share these podcasts with others, the articles, and the link to the website. Take what is presented seriously. Act on Truth. Share it with others, and live it out. Faith has to be acted out or it is no more than a volatile belief system of the head. Life with Abba is awesome! He is preparing us for eternity with Him. Thus, He expects exclusivity. He is calling us out of the Beast system, world system, and the illusions and fantasies, unto Himself. Life with Abba is filled with peace, joy, faith, love, real life, and always a feeling of expectancy. I am never bored, never have to be entertained, always enthusiastic about what Abba is showing me. Life with Them is the only way to fly–They let your soar into the third heaven.
In Isaiah 18, we see New York City clearly identified. Clues in Jeremiah 50 and 51, Isaiah 10, 13, 18 and 47, and other Scriptures so clearly identify in our day. What we see, and these Scriptures, helps us understand Revelation 18:2. And, we must take the admonition in Revelation 18:4 must be taken seriously, mentally and emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
I am a Teacher. My parents were both teachers. I started teaching the Word to young people at age 9, in a Mexican Baptist Church. Since, I’ve taught children, youth, teens, college students, and a whole lot of adults in many countries. My great joy in 1970 was teaching ex-Hell’s Angels, ex-pimps, ex-prostitutes, ex-prisoners, and regular average people, in a Bible College I helped found in California. I taught “Old Testament Survey,” and the book of Revelation. From my college days, in 1962, I loved studying the Word, especially the prophets and Revelation. So what I share with you is very exciting to me. Abba is increasing my understanding as I study. I know He is increasing yours, too, as you study.
Go to the Scriptures that I give you in podcasts and articles and read in context, asking the Spirit to teach you, using them for your own study, and refer to the articles I suggest, and hopefully get the DVDs, CDs, and books. The ones I recommend are not expensive, and can all be found on Amazon, some on Amazon Kindle.
The more you study, the more the Spirit of Yahuwah takes part in it with you, so the more your hunger and thirst for Truth will increase. The Word is our spiritual food. It transforms us from within, strengthening our mind and emotions against attack of the enemy. There are no calories in this food, but nevertheless, the food strengths you and nourishes you. We only get out of something what we put into it!
I’ve offered the transcripts of each podcast from the first one on sharing your faith. Right up front, I requested that you ask for the notes (transcripts) 3 at a time because my server won’t send more than 3 at a time. In them you’ll find listed more reference material than I give in the podcasts, even a few maps and pictures. I am seriously contemplating posting the transcripts of the podcasts under the Mikvah of our Eternal Inheritance, but that’s a project that will have to stand in line, at least until I finish all of Revelation.
I would like to podcast Scripture that is related to Revelation, perhaps Daniel 2 and 7 for example, and II Thessalonians 2. I’ve written a couple of article-studies on Daniel 9:24-27, which mostly speaks of Messiah, not an anti-messiah, completely dissolving its use to promote a 7-year tribulation. You can also request the “Scriptures About the Beast.”
I will soon be posting an article, plus podcasting it, about the date of Messiah’s birth–absolutely incredible information! Several years ago, Abba showed me the date of His conception from Haggai 2. A few nights ago I checked that with dating online from 4 BCE and 3 BCE, and could hardly sleep in my excitement. The Word of Yahuwah is alive and powerful!
