Greetings, Chag Sameach! Blessings on Shavu’ot!
“Podcast LV: Shavuot – The Living Word Speaks Forth the Torah of Yahuwah,” and “Podcast LVI: Acts 1-2 – The Giving of the Spirit of Yahuwah on Shavu’ot” together bring the united messages of Shavu’ot from Exodus 19-20 and Acts 1-2 into unity as one, “echad.” They are now ready for listening under Audio Teachings on comeenterthemikvah.com.
In America, where I am at present, it is EST (Eastern Standard Time,) 12:30 PM on Shabbat, May 26th, 2018. It is the 49th day from First Fruits. Tomorrow, which begins at sunset, is will begin the 50th day from First Fruits. In Thailand where Derek is right now, it is 1:30 AM on May 27th. They are 13 hours ahead of EST. Beginning tonight at sunset EST, we in the western hemisphere enter May 27th, and the Festival of Shavu’ot, the Feast of Weeks, the 4th Festival of the 7 – the backbone of Yahuwah’s Plan of salvation. [Refer to: “The Seven Appointments of Yahuwah”]
How do we know that May 27th no matter where you are on the planet is the true celebration of Shavu’ot? – Because we’ve read Leviticus 23 and obey what Yahuwah says! His true children do not exalted man’s opinions above the instructions of Yahuwah!
We go by the instructions of Yahuwah which are very clear and simple.
In Podcast LV (#55), I tell exactly how to figure the 50 days from First Fruits (always on a Sunday) to Shavu’ot/Pentecost (always on a Sunday). The word “Pentecost” in Greek means “50.” We start counting the 49 days, or 7 Shabbats, on the Shabbat/Sabbath after First Fruits.
In this podcast, I show how the giving of the Torah by Yahushua is all about a future wedding, and the Covenant requirements for the Engagement, the Betrothal – the formal engagement to be married. It’s all about who gets to live eternally with Messiah and what rewards of position each one earns as a result of obedience.
In Podcast LVI (#56), I tell about the incredible link between the first Shavu’ot in the third month after leaving Egypt and the giving of the Torah from Mount Sinai, and the incredible uniting in the third month, Sivan, with the Festival of Shavu’ot in Jerusalem in Acts 1-2. The two dates coinciding in the third month on the Hebrew calendar and are so united that only the word “echad” can be used to describe this unity—“two in unity as one.”
Adam and Eve were “echad,” man and wife – two beings in unity as one. In John 17, Yahushua prayed that we would be unified “echad,” as believers, and that we would be unified, “echad,” as the Father and the Son are two, yet in unity as one. This is only possible by the Spirit dwelling within us! Look what the intellectual reasoning/opinions of man has done – what a mess! Look at the peace of being united in spirit with the Spirit of Yahuwah! He teaches everyone the same things!
Oh how far almost all Western-culture “believers” have fallen from Elohim’s original intent for us! But, there is a remnant, “the few,” of the true believers who are Spirit-taught, Spirit-guided, Spirit-filled, empowered, and transformed, so that this remnant has the same mind with the Creators, walking in their nature, ways, and thinking – the soul submitted to Them also, so that their entire spirit-man is under the control of Elohim.
Listen to these two podcasts back to back if you can, for one flows into the other. You can’t Scripturally separate Torah from the giving of the Spirit.
Be sure to listen to Derek’s podcasts from Thailand, on thewelltroddenroad.org. Be sure to pray for him as he has a difficult teaching assignment there for a month longer.
Blessing, shalom, again Chag Sameach!
