Greetings:
This is a very important article to do with the spiritual warfare we’re in.
It is entitled: “Shielding Your Head in the Day of Battle.” It is #40 under the Mikvah of the Set-Apartness and Separation.
It will be podcasted as #XXXXI on Audio Teachings on January 28, 2018.
This article was written before and after I learned the status of my son’s whereabouts once he got to his destination in Iraq, where he will be teaching for six weeks. He left the U.S. on January 24th, and arrived January 26th. All the while, I was proclaiming Psalms, and Abba’s peace reigned in my spirit. Thus, I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that he was all right. His wife, Rivkah, and I, kept in contact. She also remained in faith and peace! Oh how awesome to have “an anchor of the soul!”
Friday, January 26, 2018, Derek arrived safely. After a few hours of difficulties he was taken to where he will teach the Iraqi Air Force for a U.S. Company. His 28-hour trip ended up to be a 50-hour trip with 7 different security checks. I know that some of you were praying for him. WE THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Note: Please! If you send him a personal e-mail, ask no questions, send no long e-mails–be respectful! Just write simple, brief, uplifting messages. He will be very busy! Thank you!
HOWEVER, while Derek is away, be sure to visit their website, thewelltroddenroad.org – read his posts and listen to his podcasts!
According to the Word, Iraq is not an aggressive country in these end days. Their government wants to protect their people, not attack some other nation. Thus, they are getting help to do that from America. They have recently run ISIS out of their country, for which we shout HalleluYah! ISIS killed so many believers in Iraq–beheading them.
When I lived in Jordan, I was friends with Jordanians, including Hashemites, Iraqis, Egyptians, Syrians, Lebanese, lots of Palestinians and Arabs. I liked them! I have Arab friends in Israel. They were all kind to me. Speaking for most of these people, they are just normal human beings who want peace. They don’t want to hurt anyone.
And, neither do the American people want war! I learned from some very polite and respectful Iraqi college students inside Jordan during Gulf War II that they were being told that all Americans hated them. I’m sure they were told this lie by their religious leaders, just like Americans are being lied to. I set these nice young men straight, telling them that, in general, Americans did not hate Iraqis – we hate war, especially senseless ones! They thanked me for telling them that!
We must not allow ourselves to see things the way our “programmers” want us to see them, but get our understanding from the Word and from Abba’s Spirit. He sees people as individuals, and we must too.
Be sure to also listen to the podcast of this article, which will be Podcast XXXXI, to be posted January 28, 2018.
In His love,
Yedidah
