The Podcast and this article are the same in most ways, but also different, due to the leading of the Spirit. The Scriptures are written out in this article as well.
This is a very important month. It is a bridge, a gateway, a portal, to the eternal realm for us. Do not waste a day of it. Your future depends on how deeply you enter into the Presence of Yahuwah and Yahushua in personal relationship, in obedience, in submission, in emptying “self” out of your nature and aligning to His nature, ways, and thinking.
The spiritually dead, even those with some good intellectual belief, show no life of the Spirit within. They feel like strangers and foreigners when in His Presence, for they do not Him. They withdraw and do not enter into what He is doing to manifest Himself. They feel uncomfortable in the Presence of deep worship, for we must become as a little child before our Abba/Daddy in order to enter His Presence. Yochanan/John wrote in John 7 the words of Messiah: “Out of your innermost belly will flow rivers of living water. This He spoke of the Spirit…” Deep worship which touches His heart comes from deep with our re-born spirit that is filled with His Spirit. Out from us flows love, joy, peace, faith, expectancy, and the very Presence of His Spirit. If you shun the book of Acts for today, no matter how intellectual correct you are, you will not enter the Kingdom. “Unless you turn and become as a little child, you cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven,” Messiah said. Childlike faith, purity, simplicity, quick forgiveness when wronged, simple sweetness, and trusting expectancy from a loved Abba — this is what He respects in us.
Very few know how to really worship and abide in His secret place, under His tallit, yet this is the only place of safety. He cannot help the self-sufficient, the religious, the intellectuals who live out of their reason, the analysts with their opinions – He has to draw back. He is exclusively the Most High, the Almighty.
Elul is a gift! Use every day of Elul to get before Him as a little child and submit to Him, for the time of freedom to choose freely is coming to an end soon. Our decisions in the future may cost us our physical life, or eternal life depending on the decision.
Pray this prayer every day and let the Spirit remove anything that He finds displeasing in your life. Let Him search your heart! Psalm 139:23-24.
