Days of Awe Yamim Noraim – The Most Serious Ten Days of the Entire Year

Greetings:

“Days of Awe – Yamim Noraim – The Most Serious Ten Days of the Entire Year”

This is #36.0/Mikvah of the Covenant, or “Recent Articles” on the main page.

When the ten days actually begin, in real time literally, they will be the most  intense and most serious ten days of human history.

Here’s a paragraph from this study: “I’ve been studying end-times from the early 1960s. I started out with Fundamentalist Eschatology. Through the years Abba has corrected my understanding because I stopped listening to man’s teaching. I stopped gathering opinions. I yielded to the teaching of the Spirit of Yahuwah only. Ideas come and go because man focuses on a few passages of Scripture, when all of it must be consulted with the Spirit to interpret. Now, as we approach the actual time of Messiah’s return, the Spirit is fine tuning things, so that we throw out old ideas and study the whole Word with Him to get a whole picture. The whole picture is becoming clearer.”

Of course, “No man knows the day and hour” refers to Yom Teruah, and the sighting of the new moon from Jerusalem. Of course no man knows the day or hour until they sight it. The sighting of the new moon announces Tishre 1, the Festival of Yom Teruah, the blowing of trumpets, shofars, and shouting! Yom Teruah is also known as “Yom ha Din” – day of judgment. It opens the door for the 10 days of awe, or the 10 days that separate it from Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement, is also called “Yom ha Din.”

Yom Teruah opens the door for the final separation between the righteous whose name are in the Book of Life, and the eternally damned. The ten days are for repentance before the final judgment on Yom Kippur. The Jews have the symbolism of the “days of awe” almost right–except for the “sin chicken.”

Messiah was telling His disciples that on Yom Teruah they would have ten days to be ready for His coming. It is a door-opener of the time of judgment, of setting apart of the sealed remnant, and is an invitation for repentance given of the damned – the two extremes.

Revelation 3:14-22: This is the time when the two groups of the assembly of Laodicea are forced to be either hot or cold.

As always, carefully read all the Scriptures and ask Abba for His Teaching and His confirmation. Just make sure He teaches! I’ve been talking this out with my son – we’re both very excited and have dedicated this time for Abba to clarify His Word.

On Shabbat, August 31, 2019, I was studying on Joel and came to the conclusions that were obvious. I got an e-mail from him, and he started off telling me what the Spirit was showing him from Joel. Of course, the Spirit was teaching us both the same thing. I just love it when the Spirit teaches!!!

Chag Sameach! Shalom!
