Preparing to Survive a Nuclear Attack – Practical Advise

Greetings:

This 7-page article/update is entitled “Preparing to Survive a Nuclear Attack- Practical Advice.” It is #48 under the Mikvah of Preparation.

It is really up to date–as of today! It contains a good list of practical advice written to prepare us for a nuclear attack, EMP, quarantine, martial law, invasion, etc.

I will be writing a separate article next on preparing for martial law. There are things we can survive, unless we’re under the bomb, or near to it. I spent a few years writing articles about fleeing America. I did a lot of traveling and teaching within America on this subject. I think maybe 20 or less on my big outreach list did anything about it. I got some excuses, but what I wrote is embedded solidly throughout the Word. Yes, I am well aware that there are some who really can’t get out–Romans 8:28-39!

Scripture uses the word “flee” i.e. Jeremiah 50:8; Zechariah 2:6; and “come out”, i.e. Revelation 18:4.

A few years back, the Jewish communities of the North East U.S. were warned in several ways that they needed to prepare to flee out of America. That even came even in form of an article from Saudi Arabia, addressed to “our Jewish cousins.” Prophecy was even going forth in some of the synagogues.

A Messianic friend of mine told me about hearing one of them when he was in New York visiting Jewish friends. He said that at first, when a woman stood up from the balcony and gave the prophecy, the rabbi shut her down and had her removed. My friend rose and defended her, citing her words coming from the book of Joel. The rabbi brought her back in and let her tell it again. Then they joined in prayer about what they should do about fleeing.

When I was in East Texas at a messianic gathering on a Shabbat, I spoke about a route of fleeing from the Northeast to the Gulf of Mexico. I told how I knew of Jewish ship owners had prepared years ahead to get Jews out of America, knowing that it would happen. A man and his wife were visiting  from Wisconsin. They were in the congregation and heard me teach on it. Afterwards, Ken told me that he knew Jews in Wisconsin who were trying to find an escape route out. They tried several ways, but realized how dangerous they were – like sailing the North Atlantic. He said he’d tell them what I said. The next week, I returned there to do more teaching. He called me over and said he told his Jewish friends in Wisconsin what I said. One of them knew a ship owner in the Houston shipping channel. He had phoned the ship captain and told him what I said. So, Ken told me that he had a message for me from the Jewish ship owners in Houston: “Tell that lady she’s right on – we’ve been waiting and planning for this for a long time.”

In 1999, I was in Far East Russia working with Ebenezer to bring back Russian Jews to Israel. I knew there were a lot of Jews in that region, sent there by Stalin. The huge area of Kamchatka was even further East than I was. There in that frozen region is an exit point across the Bering Strait to Nome, Alaska. I flew over that area in 1994 on my way to China. It is a short distance between the two points. I contacted pastors in Nome. I had heard that from 1971 pastors in Nome had been waiting for the Jews to flee and were ready to take them by bus – to Houston, Texas. I got one letter back from one man who owned a large ranch outside of Nome. He said, “I don’t know anything about Jews fleeing from Kamchatka, but if any flee here, I am ready to help them.” That’s all I needed to hear to shout HalleluYah!

That was 2005. In 2006, I began a year-long series of going to various places of exit from America, even to Alaska. I stayed in Alaska near Houston … and what a confirmation I had there!

In 2006, I, and two other ladies, even took a trip down the Houston, Texas, shipping channel to the Gulf and back. We did a lot of proclamation and prayer. I took many trips with 1-2 other ladies, to do intercession over the main port areas of Texas, especially at the mouths of the main rivers that flowed into the Gulf. One lady blew a shofar over the sea. I always had a team mate because this was proclamation and declaration for a lot of His people. Abba kept me busy with it for several years in various places, even at the Port of Aqaba, Jordan.

Through the years, this message of fleeing has waned and is now almost non-existent. All seems so calm and peaceful. Why would anyone want to leave this wonderful country? I never taught “fleeing” like it was a “rapture.” Yahuwah never teaches escapism except, as in passages like Jeremiah 50-51 in relationship to America from 1948 until ?  I taught it as it was taught by the early believers: W go to other nations to proclaim the Good News of salvation!

Some have set up residency in other countries, but most of them have had no desire to share anything with the locals except chitchat, and so have grown bored and disillusioned. Most have returned to America to set up life as usual again. The great commission is still: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (KJV) Yet, if they are not doing it in America, they won’t do it overseas.

The spiritual death of the majority of so-called believers in America, and the UK, and Europe, and Australia (western-culture nations in general) is devastating to me. The oppression from what is going on around us is subtle – as in subtly wearing us down to flowing in emptiness. Messiah’s messages to the assemblies of Sardis and Laodicea fit perfectly. If not our eternal salvation, our eternal rewards are at stake. Many are really saved and obeying the Word, but the rewards are based on our relationship with Messiah, His Father, and our fellow man–our lives reflecting the heart of Elohim.  Our positions in the Kingdom of Light are determined by our faithfulness to His commands. Matthew 25 speaks into this as does Luke 12.

So get prepared – it’s coming down, and so is He!

Love and shalom,

Yedidah
