Greetings:
“Run That You May Win – Today’s Historic Marathon Victory” is #87.0 Mikvah of the Heart of Elohim. This will be podcasted tomorrow as Podcast CXXXXI by the same title.
I’ve been so heavy-hearted in reporting on the events in Syria with the bombing of the Kurds, and now with Turkey’s indiscriminate bombing they’ve hit U.S. and French military bases and killed some of the soldiers. I have been in much prayer and not sleeping well, but his morning my youngest daughter called me and told me about a historic Marathon in Vienna, Austria, where a Kenyan runner broke the existing record to set a historic record for his run. What a story! So exciting!
I immediately began writing the story to send to you. Her excitement and the victory of this Kenyan man lifted my spirit so much! I include pictures. Watch videos – it will challenge you, too.
This daughter went with me to Africa in 1998, and we ministered together in Kenya and in Uganda. She’s been with me ministering in Mexico, to the Navajo Indians, and by herself in Haiti several times. She is a body-builder fitness instructor, and nutritionist, who works in the medical field. She’s run lots of 10K, 5K, and Marathon races, since she was in elementary school. I pass on the excitement and challenge to you. Don’t be flabby in body or soul (mind, emotions, will). Be disciplined, fit, and running the race to the finish line, for it is at the finish line that we receive our rewards.
