This contains updated news but also some very sobering reality of timing. Abba’s timing is speeding up. It’s compacting tighter and tighter.
I hope you’ve had a good Hanukkah. Last night, the shofar was blown here in America, as the official arrival of the month of Tevet began the eve of December 25th – closing the 30th day of Kislev.
All of us here in this family of four have been sick with a type of flu. I hardly ever even get a cold, but we all got this one. It’s usual stuff accompanying the onset of winter for a lot of people, but we’re about over it. It’s been very cold here in Texas, however I know in some places of the U.S. it has gotten to 50 below freezing, as in Montana. We’ve had a death in our family – youngest daughter’s father-in-law died two days ago. It sure did unite our families in love and prayer. He’s home with our Savior now, rejoicing.
I tend to cling to Isaiah 57:1-2 in cases like this, because I believe now Abba is mercifully taking those home out of His love. With serious things taking over the world, we trust Abba’s will for all of each member of our families.
The cold weather, and our sickness, has delayed the finalities of the cottage being finished, but it’s close to being finished. Moving in during winter isn’t my idea of fun, but I sure will be glad to move in! We let the faucets drip water at night, and our pipes did fine.
